The matrushka dolls are a gift from an old friend in Cebu. She sent them to me after she read my rant about spotting some at a thrift shop only to have the shopkeeper snatch them from my hands, saying that they already have been reserved.

The danbos are a different story all together. I got them with the help of a friend based in Japan, for relatively less than what I would have spent if I had bought them here in the Philippines, or if I had them shipped here directly.
